Sí, hoy día hace un año que me marché de España, bueno no, en realidad hace ... un año que llegué a Australia! Y bueno han pasado muchas cosas en un sólo año de vida Australiana... No todo bueno, no todo malo, pero por suerte más de lo primero que de lo segundo... una vida que también se tiene que forjar y pelear día a día igual que en cualquier parte del mundo. Voy a ver si resumo un poco por puntos como me gusta a mí!
Yep, today is my first anniversary since I came to Australia... And a lot have happened with just one year of Australian life... not everything was good but luckily there were more good stories than the bad ones to tell, it is a life which you have to forge and fight day after day exactly the same as you will have to do anywhere else. Well I'll try to sum up as I like to do.
Los que están y los que se fueron / The ones who stay and the ones who left
De todos ellos, de los que siguen aquí como de los que se han marchado he aprendido mucho, cosas buenas, cosas malas, a disfrutar algunas otras cosas que no creía importantes y a darle menos importancia a otras cosas que yo consideraba esenciales. Además la mayoría me han ayudado muchísimo y sin ellos no tendría ni la mitad de lo que tengo! Es difícil recogerlos a todos pero bueno... se ha hecho lo que se ha podido!
As you well know and I told you many times... here people are just spending some time of their life to visit Australia and leave... and I don't know how many hundreds of people I have already met but... unfortunately not everyone is still here, actually the most of them left the country.
From all of them, from those who are here yet and from those who went back to their countries I have learnt a lot, good and bad things, to enjoy some things that I didn't consider important as well as I've learnt to forget about some things that I thought were essential. Furthermore the most of them helped me a lot and I wouldn't have the half of what I have if it wasn't for them! It is difficult to show all of them but I did my best!

Hasta el momento he viajado lo que se ha podido, no me he portado mal y poco a poco voy a poder ir haciendo más! Al principio tocó trabajar más y estar más por otras cosas... Iré añadiendo lugares poquito a poquito... por suerte me voy a quedar bastante tiempo y podré ir pasito a pasito! Pero veamos a dónde he ido hasta la fecha?
So far I've travelled what I could, it wasn't bad and bit a bit I could do something more! In the beginning was meant to work and other stuff... but I'll continue adding places bit a bit... luckily I'm going to stay here for a long time and I could do it step by step! Fútbol! / Soccer!
Sí! Después de tirarme casi dos años sin jugar... volví a entrenar y a jugar para un equipo de por aquí, el Annerley FC!! Gracias a mi coleguilla Biagio que me animó a que me pasara y a probar! Voy oxidado como nadie y me falta todavía forma y confianza para ser la mitad de portero que era antes, que tampoco es que fuera Pepe Reina pero oye... algo paraba de vez en cuando.
Yep!! After almost two years inactive... I came back to train and play for an aussie team called Annerley FC!! Thanks to my friend Biagio who encouraged me to go and try! At the moment I'm still soooo rusty and I'm missing my fitness and my confidence to be the half of the goalkeeper that I was before, it is true that I wasn't Pepe Reina either but hey... sometimes I could save one or two...

Bueno cosillas que ya he hecho... Pues ya he visto un partido de rugby... o rugby league o no sé exactamente porque no me entero mucho de las diferencias y tal....
Well the things that I've already done.... well I've watched a Rugby match... or Rugby League or... I don't know exactly because I don't even know the differences between them....
I also took my first Surf class!! Thanks to my Australian sister Nadia! The truth is that I couldn't even stand up but... well shortly I'll buy one board and I'll practice hard! I promise!
He visto Canguros y Koalas! La única lástima es que los he visto en cautividad.... bueno excepto para algún Canguro que he visto suelto por ahí... A ver si me voy encontrando con algunos mientras voy haciendo mis viajes!
I've seen Kangaroos and Koalas! The shame is that it was in a Zoo... apart from some wild Kangaroos that I could see... I hope I'm going to meet more of them in my trips!
También he pasado mis primeras navidades en verano! La verdad es que a pesar de estar guays y tal... al estar acostumbrado a las navidades frías de toda la vida pues se me han hecho raras... y el estar lejos de la familia y amigos pues tampoco ayuda!
I have spend also mi first Christmas in summer! The truth is that despite they are cool.... because I'm used to the cold Christmas for me they were awkward and well... being far away from family and friends doesn't help at all!
La Loles y el Chipi Chipi ya están aquí / La Loles and Chipi Chipi are already here
Bueno bueno... La Loles como bien sabéis la mayoría se instauró aquí gracias al nombre de mi furgonetilla... Una de las perlas de la aventura! En mi equipo de fútbol ya son muchos los que la conocen (la canción) y en mi entorno general ... pues prácticamente todos ya que es el himno de mi churri.
Por otro lado.. el chipi chipi ya se ha extendido entre los hispanohablantes pero cabe decir que me cuesta más introducirlo entre los anglosajones ya que no entienden la letra y bueno... claro es complicado, de todas formas... hace poco estuve de cumpleaños con muchos Aussies y.. sí, el Chipi Chipi también estuvo allí.
Well well... La Loles as the majority knows was introduced in the country thanks to my van which has the same name as the song... One of the pearls of my adventure! In my soccer team there are already many players who know the song and in my environment.... well mostly everyone because is the official anthem of my van.
On the other side... the chipi chipi has already been expanded along the Spanish-speakers comunity but it is more difficult to introduce it with the Anglo-Saxon because they generally don't understand the lyrics... and well it is complicated, however last week I was in a birthday party with many Aussies and yeah.... the Chipi Chipi was there too.
Festivales de música! / Music Festivals
Ya he asistido a un festival de música! Stereosonic! Hay que decir que me lo pasé teta en el festival y tal lo único es que como ya sabéis yo soy más de música rock y bueno... este era de música electrónica! El único que realmente me gustó bastante fue Skrillex por lo demás bueno bien!! En breve voy a ir al Soundwave que es otro festival de dos días pero de rock, metal, heavy metal... y demás, ya os contaré! E intentaré ir a otro festival llamado Bluesfest en Byron Bay mucho más hippie y que tiene muy buena pinta! Son 5 días pero bueno, si puedo iré el fin de semana!
I've already assisted to one music festival! Stereosonic! I have to say that I enjoyed a lot buuut the only thing is that, as you already know I'm more rocker and well... this festival was about electronic music! The only one that I really liked was Skrillex but for the rest well they were ok!! Shortly I'm going to Soundwave which is another two days festival but about rock, metal and heavy metal... Visitas / Visitors
Hasta el momento sólo dos buenos amigos me han podido venir a visitar, se entiende que está muy lejos y yo aprecio muchísimo el esfuerzo que hicieron para poder hacerlo! Sé perfectamente que se lo pasaron teta y que les encantó Australia! Y espero de corazón que nos podamos ver pronto aunque óbviamente la próxima me toca a mí! Gracias Ibán y Micha por venir a ver a este pichabrava.
So far just two of my good friends could come to visit me, it is understandable due to it is really far away and I really appreciate the effort they did to come! I perfectly know that they enjoyed a lot and they felt in love with Australia! And I hope with all my heart that I'll see you soon guys but obviously the next one is on me! Thanks Ibán and Micha for coming to visit this dickhead.

Bueno este es un pequeño resumen muy pequeño de lo que ha pasado este año pero ha sido un año lleno de experiencias y me han cambiado como persona, para bien por suerte, me han hecho más humilde, más fuerte, mejor persona y probablemente seguiré creciendo conforme vaya pasando el tiempo! Sígamos adelante y a ver como se presenta el próximo!!
Well this is a really short summary about what happened this last year but it has been a year full of experiences which have changed me as a person, luckily in the good way, humbler, stronger, better person and probably I'll continue growing during the next year! Let's keep going and see what happens!
